All students must complete their English language requirements by the end of their second year of studies at the university. Students who have not fulfilled their English requirements before beginning their third year will be permitted to register only for English courses until these requirements are completed.
The English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Unit offers mandatory English courses leading to exemption from the English requirement for undergraduate students.
Placement into English levels is based on:
- The English section score of the Psychometric Entrance Examination, or
- The Amiranet placement test.
Students admitted to the university without a psychometric score must take the Amiranet test in order to obtain a valid English placement level before registering for the academic year.
