ד"ר עדינה מנס השלימה את תאריה באוניברסיטת בר־אילן: תואר ראשון ותעודת הוראה באנגלית, תואר שני ושלישי בחינוך. בעבודת התזה התמקדה בשאלה Why do Israeli university students major in a foreign language? The effect of the language status on the learner's motivational orientations. את עבודת הדוקטור כתבה בנושא The Self-Perceived Professional Identity of EFL (English as a Foreign Language) Israeli Teachers.
ד"ר מנס מלמדת אנגלית כשפה זרה שנים רבות, בעלת ניסיון בנושאים מגוונים כגון: בניית תכניות לימוד, וכן הוראת אנגלית מקצועית למקצועות מדעי ההתנהגות. הוראה הכוללת הקניית מיומנויות בסיס לכתיבה אקדמית, קריאה ביקורתית ועוד.
