GRADUATE PLACEMENT TEST

DURATION OF EXAM:

Reading Comprehension section (Duration: 1.5 hours)

Writing section (Duration: 30 minutes)

1. Part I – Reading Comprehension: The reading section consists of a text and a set of questions.

READ THE TEXT AND ANSWER THE QUESTIONS.

2. Part II – Writing: Begin the writing section immediately after completing the reading section. The writing section involves writing a short passage in English. Make a clear statement and follow your statement with supporting ideas. The passage will be judged both on the organization and support of ideas and on the accuracy of the language used.

Regular and electronic dictionaries are permitted (except for Kareem and Quicktionaries or any dictionary that connects to the internet or scans text).

Laptops, Smartphones or Smartwatches are not permitted. Dictionaries must be noiseless.

No additional notes or papers may be attached to the dictionary.

Writing inside of the dictionary is also forbidden.

זמן המבחן :

חלק א' – הבנת הנקרא (זמן מוקצב: 1.5 שעות)

חלק ב' – כתיבה (הזמן המוקצב: 30 דקות)

1. חלק א' – הבנת הנקרא: חלק זה כולל מאמר ושאלות על המאמר. עליך לקרוא את המאמר ולענות על השאלות.

2. חלק ב' – כתיבה: להתחיל חלק זה מיד אחרי חלק א'. חלק זה כולל כתיבת קטע קצר באנגלית. הצג/י רעיון מרכזי ברור ותמוך/י בו ע"י טיעונים הגיוניים. הקטע יבחן עפ"י המבנה, פיתוח הרעיונות והדיוק בשפה.

ניתן להשתמש בכל סוג של מילון, כולל מילון אלקטרוני (בתנאי שהוא לא מרעיש).

אסור להשתמש במחשב נישא, טלפון חכם, שעון חכם, מילונית קרים או קיויקשיונרי.

אסור להשתמש במילון שמתחבר לאינטרנט או סורק טקסט.

אין לצרף למילון שום פתקים או ניירות.

אין לכתוב דבר במילון.

مدة الامتحان:

القسم الأول- فهم المقروء (الوقت المحدّد: ساعة ونصف)

القسم الثاني- كتابة (الوقت المحدّد: 30 دقيقة(

القسم الأول- فهم المقروء: يحتوي هذا القسم على مقال وأسئلة على المقال. عليك قراءة المقال والإجابة عن الأسئلة.
القسم الثاني- كتابة: ابدأ/ي هذا القسم حالا بعد القسم الأول. يشتمل هذا القسم على كتابة فقرة قصيرة بالإنجليزية. اعرض فكرة مركزية واضحة واسندها بادعاءات منطقية. يتمّ تقييم الفقرة بحسب المبنى، تطوير الأفكار وسلامة اللغة ودقتها.

يمكن استعمال كل أنواع القواميس، بما فيها القاموس الإلكتروني (بشرط ألا يصدر ضجة).

ممنوع استعمال الحاسوب المتنقل أو الكيوكشيونري أو قاموس كريم.

ممنوع استخدام قاموس يتصل بالإنترنت أو يقوم بمسح النص.

ممنوع استعمال الساعة الذكية أو الهاتف الذكي.

ممنوع إرفاق القاموس بأية بطاقات أو قصاصات ورقية.

ممنوع كتابة أي شيء على القاموس.
