גב' בלה וייסבלט-לנקרי

I grew up in America and made “Aliyah” in 1990. I served in the IDF as a lone soldier ("Chayal Boded"). Following my service I enrolled at Bar Ilan University, where I completed my Bachelors, Masters, and teaching certificate.

I teach Advanced level courses as well as Masters writing. For me, teaching is a type of "shlichut" (mission). It is not only about the material being taught, which truly enriches the student's psychic and personal lives, it is about the relationships that I am able to form with my students. I find that the students are most responsive to learning when I present the material using topics that are related to their cultural milieu.

In addition to teaching, I enjoy learning Torah and reading.

Special Duties 

Coordinator of EFL Unit's Reading and Writing Clinic

This duty includes interviewing and recruiting staff, staff training, preparing clinic schedules, organizing and writing special materials catered to individual students needs for all levels, catering to students with learning disabilities, following up on students work, organizing special tutorial sessions and material for tutorials, promotion of the Read Please Site for learning disabled and impaired students. 

The EFL Reading and Writing Clinic provides services that are open to EFL students at all levels seeking additional assistance in their English studies. The EFL unit tries to cater to all students by opening during multiple and various hours throughout the week. The clinic is staffed by MA and PhD level students with teaching experience, who are trained to help students with all aspects of English reading comprehension
